W Middlesbrough ekipa Redcar Bears przegrała z Peterborough Panthers 32:49. Mecz ten został przerwany po trzynastu wyścigach, a powodem był brak odpowiedniej opieki medycznej. W czternastej gonitwie groźny upadek zanotował Hugh Skidmore, który został odwieziony do szpitala z podejrzeniem kontuzji ramienia.
